" I have an unusual blend of expertise and experience, for I was trained as a teacher (MA degree from University of Texas at Austin) but "crossed over" to graphic and instructional design, editing, and page layout while working on an educational books project for the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Education. For the past sixteen years, I have worked in corporate environments--mainly as a Microsoft contractor--but also for Harris Corporation (Microwave equipment and supplies). I am highly skilled in use of Photoshop and Illustrator and have also produced 3-D and animated presentations using DynaCADD and Flash. My verbal and communications skills are well above average, perhaps because of my university training in foreign languages and education. |
Doughlas Remy produces 2D, 3D and animated computer graphics for output to print and online media. Tools include: Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, Premiere*, Framemaker*, InDesign*, all MS Office applications, MS Publisher, MS Frontpage, Flash, DynaCADD and Visio. *I do not currently have the asterisked applications on my personal computer. If your project requires one of these applications, I may be able to purchase it, depending on the scope of the project.
